Ashley Gallaher graduated with a Master of Science in Education in Counseling from Quincy University and completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University (Edwardsville). Ashley is a fully licensed therapist in Illinois (LCPC) and Missouri (LPC). She is a Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRADC) in Illinois and is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors. She utilizes Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as a part of her therapeutic approach. Ashley has been with Preferred Family Healthcare since 2018 and joined Clarity in Quincy in 2021.
Pamela Barrigar, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Pam Barrigar joined Clarity Healthcare in 2018. Pam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and is currently licensed in Missouri, Illinois, Florida and Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work with a Minor in Psychology from Western Illinois University and a Master of Social Work from Florida State University. Pam is Clarity Healthcare's school-based therapist for the Hannibal area and provides in person and telehealth services for students at several of the Hannibal Schools. She has over ten years experience working with children, adolescents and adults providing individual, family and group therapy. Pam is trained in multiple therapy models including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and evidenced based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Brandy Kruse, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) - IL
Brandy Kruse, a licensed clinical professional counselor, specializes in child therapy as well as individual counseling for anxiety, trauma, and grief. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults to overcome obstacles, strengthen self-confidence, and repair relationships. Brandy graduated from Ball State University in 2009 with a Master of Art in Counseling. Since then, she has been providing therapeutic services to those struggling with: adjustment to significant life changes, behavioral and emotional difficulties, grief/loss, relational difficulties, self-esteem, and stress management. She has received specialized training on: grief, trauma, play therapy, and trauma-focused CBT. Brandy joined the Clarity Healthcare team in August of 2022.
Susan MacDonough, Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC)
Susan MacDonough, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), provides individual, couples (Gottman), and group therapy for adults plus family therapy. She utilizes Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to assist individuals working through life challenges.
Kathy Brink, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
Kathy Brink graduated from Quincy University in 2007 with a Master of Science in Education (MSE). She is fully licensed in IL (LCPC) and MO (LPC). She is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Kathy is trained in EMDR and specialize in SUD, trauma and couples counseling.
Dr. Lyle Clark, Medical Director
Dr. Clark has been working as a Psychiatrist for more than twenty-five years. He is Board Certified in General and Forensic Psychiatry.
Dr. Clark has extensive experience in managing healthcare facilities. He worked as the Acting Chief of the ADA unit at Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, Missouri while he was still in his psychiatric residency. He later became an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri. He has been the Medical Director of a psychiatric hospital and was instrumental in opening an adolescent treatment unit in a major hospital in the Illinois Quad Cities where he later served as medical director. More recently he was the Medial Director of Psychiatry at Hannibal Regional Hospital while working at the Woodland Center.
Dr. Clark completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science as part of the President's scholars program at Southern Illinois University. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Illinois School of Medicine as a James Scholar. He completed his psychiatric residency and a Special Fellowship in Alcohol Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He received his Juris Doctorate at the University of Missouri School of Law.
Honors and awards received by Dr. Clark include being a member of the Phi Alpha Phi Honor Society at the University of Southern Illinois and the Alpha Phi Omega Honor Society at the University of Illinois School of Medicine. He received the Outstanding Resident Award while in psychiatric residency and was awarded The Golden Apple Outstanding Teacher Award at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
Dr. Clark started working at Preferred Family Healthcare in Hannibal, Missouri in 2012 as a Psychiatrist for the CPRC program. He was promoted to the position of Medical Director of the entire Preferred Family Healthcare organization in March of 2014. With his knowledge and experience in Mental Health and operations, he looks forward to helping PFH continue to grow and prosper.
Dr. Clark resides in Hannibal, Missouri with his wife Debra. He has one step-son, Eric and three grandchildren.
Dr. Katarzyna Derlukiewicz, Physician
Dr. Derlukiewicz received her medical degree from the Medical University of Gdansk. She completed her four year residency training in Psychiatry at the State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She went on to complete a two year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the same training institution. In addition, she also completed a year long fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York.
Dr. Derlukiewicz is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as well as the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine. Dr. Derlukiewicz is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine.
Prior to joining Clarity Healthcare, Dr.Derlukiewicz worked as a medical director and attending physician at the Center for Child Success in Hannibal, MO.
Andrea C. Hawkins , Nurse Practitioner
Andrea Hawkins FNP-BC is a nurse who has been a nurse for 18 years with 12 of those years working as a family nurse practitioner. Andrea was raised in Palmyra, MO and graduated from Palmyra High School.
Andrea received her Associate of Science in Nursing at what was then Hannibal LaGrange College (now University) in 1996. She then obtained her Bachelor of Nursing Degree and Master of Nursing Degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2001, where she was inducted in the nursing honor society of Sigma Theta Tau.
Andrea has worked in various healthcare settings. She has worked as a medical-surgical nurse at Hannibal Regional Hospital and a rehabilitation registered nurse at Blessing Hospital. She has also worked as a float cardiac registered nurse at St Luke Hospital which is a Level 1 Trauma Hospital located in Kansas City, Missouri.
As a family nurse practitioner, Andrea worked within an inner city high school clinic in Kansas City, Missouri. Andrea has also worked at a rural health clinic, Shelbina Family Practice in Shelbina Missouri, before transferring to Hannibal Regional Medical Group to work in the internal medicine department located in Hannibal, Missouri.
Andrea helped with the implementation of Express Care, which is a convenient care service. Express Care allows individuals to be seen by nurse practitioners for non-life threatening conditions who are unable to see their medical providers. Andrea also helped with the implementation of the Vaccine for Children Program at Hannibal Regional Medical Group. This program allows access to vaccines for children on Medicaid or those who do not have insurance.
Andrea also serves as an online section adjunct instructor for Catherine McAuley School of Nursing located at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Andrea is currently working at Clarity Healthcare, a community based clinic that is located in Hannibal, Missouri. She is open for new patients and sees individuals of all ages.
Andrea resides in Palmyra, Missouri with her family.
Carol Greening, APRN
Carol Greening has worked as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse in mental health for over 25 years. She is board certified as a clinical nurse specialist in child and adolescent and adult mental health. She has worked as a nursing instructor, nurse manager and Advance Practice Registered Nurse.
She received her Bachelor of Science and Masters in Nursing with a focus in mental health nursing from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO.
Carol is active in her professional organizations, especially the Missouri Nurses Associations.
Carol began her nursing career at Levering Hospital then continued her career at the Vocational School as an instructor and coordinator of the Hannibal School of Practical Nursing. After completing her master's degree, she became the Director of Psychiatric Nursing at St. Mary Hospital, then Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She has provided mental health care at several organizations including New Directions (a partial hospitalization program), the Gadson Clinic, Chaddock, Comprehensive Care, Preferred Family Healthcare, and Outpatient Mental Health at Hannibal Regional Medical Group. She is currently working at Clarity Healthcare providing behavioral health services to adolescents and adults.

Mark Conover, Vice President of Healthcare Services
Mark Conover joined the Preferred Family team in 2014 as the Vice President of Healthcare Services, providing executive leadership of our Community Health Center, Clarity Healthcare. He came to PFH with extensive senior management and governance experience. Mark has in-depth financial expertise and an intimate knowledge of the operational and regulatory environment within which Community Health Centers must operate. He is able effectively balancing the needs of at-risk patient populations with the long term financial viability of the health care organization.
Mark Conover Mark earned his Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University in 1993. Mark has also served in the past as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Chanda Herron, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Chanda Herron joined Clarity Healthcare in 2018 as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelors of Social Work from Columbia College in 2001 and her Masters of Social Work from University of Missouri - Columbia in 2003. Chanda has experience as a case manager from the Children's Division and was a Crisis Counselor for 10 years for the Child Abuse and Negelect Hotline. She has worked in private practice counseling, participated in social work lobbying and grassroots organizing.
Matt Walker, Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Matt Walker joined Clarity Healthcare in 2017 working in the Quincy office as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Matt received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Culver-Stockton College. Matt has been a nurse for over 20 years. He is a certified psychiatric nurse and certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. He has also received his Master of Science in Nursing Education and precepts future nurse practitioners. He earned his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri - Columbia. He is a certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Amanda Wosman, Executive Director - Hannibal, MO
Amanda Wosman joined Preferred Family Healthcare in 2019 working in the Quality Management Department prior to accepting the position of Executive Director of Clarity Healthcare. Ms. Wosman earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Culver Stockton College and has spent the last twenty years working locally in rural health. She promotes community partnerships and wellbeing by leading and/or participating in many community health outreach efforts, and is passionate about ensuring needs are met for the most vulnerable populations.
Brooke Gipson, Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Brooke Gipson joined Clarity Healthcare in 2019. Brooke is a nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience working with individuals in underserved populations. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in Family Practice. Brooke works as the school based health clinic nurse practitioner for Moberly Public Schools and the Northeast Randolph County R-IV School District in Cairo, Missouri. She has spent countless hours looking for a way to bring healthcare into the school system to fill the gap; and create access to care for individuals who do not have a regular primary care provider.
Bridgett Cooper, Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Bridgett Cooper joined Clarity Healthcare in 2020. Bridgett is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri. She received a Master of Science in Education in Counseling from Quincy University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University. Bridgett is Clarity Healthcare’s school-based therapist for Monroe City R-I and Paris R-II school districts.

Heather Mahsman joined Clarity Healthcare in 2019 working in the Hannibal office as a primary care povider. Heather recieved her BSN from Quincy University- Blessing Riemann College of Nursing. Heather has been in the field of nursing for 15 years. She is a certified nurse in Inpatient Obstetrics. She then earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice – Family Nurse Practitioner from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Amy Bue, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN,FNP-C)
Amy Bue joined Clarity Healthcare in 2019 as a Nurse Practitioner. Amy received a Masters of Science in Nursing degree from Maryville University. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has been a nurse in the local community for the past 19 years. Amy believes very strongly that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare and I am dedicated to helping people of all ages recognize and attain their individual health care goals.
Dianna Phares, Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Dianna Phares joined Clarity Healthcare in 2017. Dianna has been a psychiatric mental health professional for twenty-five years working in various capacities from nursing to senior administration. She is an Associate Professor of Nursing, teaching in a Psychiatric Mental Health program. She is very involved in volunteering for various community agencies including going to schools educating families, students and teachers on mental health diagnosis which she feels are often misunderstood. She is an active member in professional nursing organizations which include St. Louis Nurses of Advanced Practice, Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, and is a former President of Missouri Nurses Association Chapter 15 and currently Chair of their Peer Assistance Program. Dr. Phares is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified (FNP-BC), a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified (PMHNP-BC), holds a PhD in Psychology, and is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Chaka Batley, Psychiatric Mental Health (NP)
Chaka Batley is a Nurse Practitioner who joined Clarity Healthcare in 2020. She is board certified in Pediatric Primary Care and Psychiatric Mental Health for the lifespan. She completed a Post-Masters Psychiatric Mental Health certification from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 2019 and is certified through the American Nursing Credentialing Center. Chaka received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Iowa in 2013 and is board certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Chaka has served the community locally over the past 10 years. Her current role involves building relationships with individuals and families within the community to provide integrated care to achieve health and mental wellness. Chaka volunteers in several leadership roles in our community to encourage others to be proactive and a positive role model for future generations.. She is dedicated to using the opportunities placed before her to empower others to face adversity and embrace individuality while discovering we all are created to make a difference.

Lauren Tobin is a Licensed Master Social Worker who has ten years of experience working with patients and clients with behavioral health, substance use, and chronic health conditions. Her focus is on addressing physical health and environmental barriers to assist her clients in managing and improving their overall health and wellness. She has a Masters Degree in Social Work and holds a MAADC II substance use counseling credential.
Angela Warfield, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - MO
Angela Warfield graduated from Missouri Baptist University in 2016 with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and in 2012 from Argosy University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRADC). With over 12 years of experience in the human services field, she provides individual therapy for adults, adolescents and children. She utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Motivational Interviewing as a part of her therapeutic approach. One of Angela’s professional goals is to excel in trauma work and complete certification to practice EMDR therapy. Angela has been with Clarity Healthcare since 2020 and has held positions as a community support worker and substance abuse counselor in the past. Angela has a passion for travel, mountain hiking, gardening and the outdoors, but most importantly her family! One of her personal goals is to visit every National Park in the United States, she’s seen 10 out of 63 so far, with hopes to add 10 more to that list by the end of 2023!

Kayla Fletcher, Clinical Pharmacist
Kayla Fletcher joined Clarity Healthcare in 2021 as a Clinical Pharmacist. Kayla grew up in Hannibal and received her Associates of Arts Degree in General Education in 2008 from Moberly Area Community College (MACC). She then obtained her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry degree from Missouri State University (MSU) in 2011. After working in a pharmaceutical lab for two years, she realized her real passion was in patient care. Kayla went on to graduate from the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC) at MSU in 2018 with her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree with Magna Cum Laude honors. She is now a licensed pharmacist in the states of Missouri and Illinois. Her professional focus is on non-traditional, clinical pharmacy. As a member of a multidisciplinary team in the clinic, she is able to improve medication safety and dispensing through many pharmaceutical interventions and policy development. She finds joy in caring for patients and is proud to see the direct impact a pharmacist can have on their health.

Sean Meyer, LCSW (MO), LCPC (IL), believes that one’s mental/emotional health is an integral part of overall health care and provides individual and family counseling as part of her professional services at Clarity Healthcare. With over 30 years of clinical practice, Sean continues to provide information, tools, and support to those facing life challenges and desiring healthy change and growth, using a variety of evidence-based treatment processes, including Certified Safe EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Darion Stephens, Residential Director - Quincy, IL
Darion Stephens is the Residential Director of the Quincy PFH/Clarity SUD Treatment Facility. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor moving towards her LCPC and a National Certified Counselor. Darion received her master’s degree in Human Development Counseling from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Her theoretical orientation is Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She spent the beginning of her career working with children and adolescents who have trauma and attachment issues. Although Darion does still keep a caseload of children, she has moved her expertise into the field of Substance Abuse Treatment where she finds passion in watching people make change and create happiness in their lives. Darion enjoys getting to help make even the smallest difference in the lives of her clients and hear their updates as they come back to visit the place that began their journey. Darion takes pride in her relationship with her family and her role as a mother. She spends the majority of her free time with her kids and enjoys coaching basketball, soccer, and football.

Katelyn Nichols received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology and Minor in Social Justice from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2014. She also received a Certificate in Multicultural Studies, from the university. Katelyn enjoys working with the underserved population to help alleviate the barriers in accessing healthcare. In her free time, she loves being outdoors and staying active. Katelyn has been with Preferred Family Healthcare/Clarity Healthcare since 2015.
Corby Smith, School Based Health Centers Coordinator
Corby Smith has been a nurse since 1995. She has a Bachelor’s in English and Creative Writing with Concentration in Fiction Writing and an MFA in Creative Writing with Online Teaching Certification. She enjoys reading and writing and recently released her memoir about grief. She has completed her first book in a suspense romance series. Corby is passionate about mental health and suicide prevention and volunteers with the American Federation of Suicide Prevention. She is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, loves to travel, bake, and spend as much time as she can with her family, especially her grandchildren.
